| Management of Gingival Recession - a hands-on course detailing the when and how! | Our patients are becoming increasingly aware of the impact that their smile has on their confidence and quality of life. Dr Marina Kamel, a Brisbane-based specialist periodontist, will discuss the aetiology of gingival recession. She will discuss the rationale for managing recession, the options available to the patient, the anticipated outcomes, and help develop a decision-making tree on when to refer and what to expect for each recession type. This will be followed by a hands-on component teaching how to carry out recession coverage procedures using autogenous and xenografts on an animal model. The hands-on will cover flap raising, flap advancement, coverage of defect using autogenous and xenografts and suturing. | 27/02/26 | 27/02/26 | CPD & Training Centre 26-28 Hamilton Place Bowen Hills QLD 4006 | Dr Marina S Kamel | $1360 | 7 | Register | ||
